WELLESLEY ISLAND, NY -- A Baldwinsville woman died this afternoon after she drove her Nissan pickup truck into the path of a dump truck in the town of Orleans, state police said.

Susan J. Higginbotham, 58, of Baldwinsville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, troopers said. Her passenger, Jean A. Lindsey, 82, of Wellesley Island, was taken to Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown after the crash, troopers said.


Higginbotham's truck was struck on the driver's door by the dump truck.
